Fronfelen is a safe, clean, and well-kept cattery; we have rigorous cleaning and disinfection routines as our standard practice. There is plenty of space here, so it is easy to keep distanced from one another, and the cattery has excellent ventilation, making it possible for customers to safely come into the cattery with us if they wish.
We appreciate that everyone is different, so we have no single procedure for everyone to follow, but rather we can be flexible and adapt, so as to provide the service that’s right for you and your cat, whilst keeping everybody safe.
For customers who prefer not to come into the cattery at the moment, we can either collect your cat from you in the parking area in front of our house, or if you prefer, you can bring your cat into the reception at the front of the cattery. If you like, you can watch your cat being settled into their pod from outside of the cattery, through the window or open shutter. Departures can be similarly arranged, simply in reverse.
If you wish to come into the cattery and see your pet settled into their pod, this can easily be done in a safe and socially-distanced manner. We are able to remove shutters in advance to ensure excellent ventilation of the building, and there is ample space to socially-distance within the cattery. We will wear masks whenever we’re in the building with any our customers.
Cat carriers are always thoroughly cleaned by us, using our pet-friendly disinfectant, prior to collection. There is hand sanitiser, formulated to WHO standards (and produced by a Welsh distillery 😃) available for use in reception.
